Power feeding arowana

What is a good method and food to powerfeed an arowana. What food would make it grow. I assume high temps also?

Shouldn't really be power feeding, but regarding the food part, you'd be looking for things like shrimp, scallop, and of course pellets. If its in your price range, I have found that tuna and salmon have an even bigger effect.

Nothing beats superworms for your arowana to pack on the pounds real quick.

Problem with gshocks mentioned foods is although they do put on size, not all arowanas will accept them. Superworms on the other hand 99.9 % of healthy aros will go beserk on them and gorge themselves.

They'll accept anything once you starve them.

i feed mine hikari arosticks, shrimp, and threadfin shad. They grew from 6" to 20" in a little less than a year, i consider that pretty good because I moved twice within that year period.

super worms...my arowana was addicted to super worms and refused to eat other foods. it was like that for 2 weeks..but happily eating its normal diet again

frogs, superworms, silversides... feed him twice a day, just keep him full. aros don't take long to grow.

Having him in a higher temp will help... he will have a higher metabolism so you will have to feed more... but making him grow too fast can be bad for it's help... as stated above they grow fast anyway so why make him grow even faster?
