Power outage question.

^ Same here. I only seem to lose power in the winter.
Last winter it was -20F out when we lost power. I covered all tanks with blankets and just prayed the power would come back on soon. And it did. A few hours later. My pond ended up nearly frozen over because of it.

This time I’m prepared for winter. We finally decided to get a generator so I can run heaters and bubblers if need be.

The first time I lost power in the fall I ran my tank off my car via a converter. ran my car for 5 days straight.....alternated with my wifes car. Crazy times!
