im gonna trial and error it, arrows that are 3 to 4" are sellling here at about $13 a fish so its not expensive. im willing to give those a try. gonna pick up 3 today and see how it goes.

Ya, the worse that can happen is all the aros die, right? I'm sure if that happens the store will glady sell ya more.

if you have that choice made from the start why waste our time and energy to answer your questions that you obviously don't care about...like brian said they'll sell ya more...just don't waste our time again will..."how could this happen all my aros died"...

so most people on this thread tell me good luck and it should be okay and hopefully HOPEFULLY they wont fight even have someone with the exact same thing i want to do and you guys are dissing me when i say im going to try it? CLASSIC also i asked for advice if the kigomas and arrows would be safe together, the guy with the video seems to think it would be fine, im not saying that i aready know what i was going to do and i dont want the arrows to die but im trying to succeed and make a tank set up like the guy in the video with the same fish hence i was gonna trial and error it. his seemed like they were all getting along but i dont know whats going to happen when i get mines in do you?

look in all the young aro threads...you will see small aros + any tankmates = 95% dead aros...i myself have lost many aros do to fighting amoungst the aros themselves...what brian and i are tring to tell you is listen to the advise you are given by people who have rasied more then one aro...the front /aro mix could and has worked like i even stated in the thread before...you need to look at what has been said.....grow the aros out to 7-10" then mix OR get a 7-10" aro then put it in...if your fronts are to small...let them grow then do it...crispys aro/front combo works yes, but what he failed to mention was that his aro was around 10"+- when he got it, if i am not mistaken...if you can't wait then get a larger aro to mix or run the risk of lossing all your aros, by not listening...

I also stated to get the larger aro. Small ones are too delicate IMO. My fronts were 3 years old and already a good size when I introduced 7-8" aro. Small aros will not appreciate any current either. Lotsa good advice above. Especially since you wanna do this in a 55g? Probably not the best idea.. I did this in a 130 before upgrading to current 190. Grow those fronts for awhile until you have a bigger tank, then introduce aro.

okay my bad thanks again guys for the advice, ill just wait until i find another 7" arrow for sale. crispy i really like your set up and sbuse thanks for all the advice.
