The chunks are about-> ___________ <- big and squarish.

My fiance wants to get a puffer. I told him if he buys the tank, the fish, the salt, and the food, and gauges that I would mix the water, and help change it, and feed the fish.

I myself, would like to get some puffers, stars, and marine hermit crabs....

ANYWAYS,

Whiplash is doing very well today, about how often should I feed him those floating pellets? I gave him a few more last night and he was still hungry-ish, and gave them some chase.

I need to get my Ps some shrimp. I haven't got any for these guys yet. My old ones used to eat 'em w/ the shell on. My g/f used to have a puffer, but he disappeared, don't know what happened... :nilly:

thos chunks would be great!

brackish puffers or marine? i'd go marine, salt water tanks are just so attrctive i love mine, bio cubes are amazing, $250 for the tank, $___.00 for rock depending were u are it varys usally about $5.99 a LB. sand about $30.00 for 30ish pounds. and i also got a skimmer comming in the mail, i got a BC29R, it was $170.00 < you dont need one but you will not have to do much water changes at all >

i also used to keep green spoted puffers, those are great brackish puffers. used to eat cricketrs, pellets, flaked, brine shrimp. great fish to keep.

as for feeding baby p's, usally 2 times a day, morning then night, about as much as he can eat a couple mins, i usally do one cube of frozen krill in the morning about 9am, then 1 krill cube, 1 beef heart cube at night around 6pm or 7pm

i like doing beefheart, it tends to thaw out alot faster then krill, yea he seems to eat the beefheart alot faster then krill. . . . .

Do you buy the frozen stuff? I bought a little container of fresh beef heart and they tore that up...

when the local grocery store has fresh i ask them n they usally give it to me for free, because they dont use it, when they dont have it i get frozen

He wants a marine puffer, I don't remember what species, I know this fish was the size of my hand....

I want a dog-faced puffer, those have always fascinated me.

I'll probably get some beefheart cubes when he gets bigger, I don't feel like shredding any more meat for him!! LOL

_sushi_ you could get packaged frozen cubes, all you have to do is pop a cube out and thaw it in the water for the fish and once it sinks just put it in his tank, i use a shot glass ( double shot ). a clear one so you can see when the food sinks. works great
