More thoughts.....Someone mentioned The Rock starring in the movie but his pay would have taken up a good bit of the budget...It's good to see Oleg Taktarov finding work long after his MMA career has ended. He had a similar gun to one that Jesse Ventura toted in the first film....I thought it was corny to have some Yakuza/samurai wannabe take out one of the predators. It would seem that their reflexes would be too fast and a human would be no match for them with such a primative weapon.

I think Oleg has a pretty good camera presense and he appeared to act pretty well which is more than what I can say about Randy Couture. Randy looks like he's forcing the lines and doesn't look natural (funny since he is the Natural) playing his parts. But I was impressed by Oleg considering he hasn't had much experience

I was ok with the Yakuza guy fighting and even almost beating the pred. To me, the preds always seemed big and slow so I was ok with that. and they are all about the challenge. When he saw a human challenge him 1 on 1, he didn't use anything but his blade against the guy's sword.

*"How did the guy from That 70's Show know that one plant was poisonous?"-He explains at one point or another that he studied poisons and toxins. Yes, I remember that part, but how is an expert on poisons and toxins from earth going to be on an alien planet and know a dangerous alien plant from a non dangerous alien plant??

*"and what happened to all the alien dogs?"-I sort of remember them being killed at some point but I may be mistaken some were killed except for like 1 or 2. they were later seen again when the humans found the predator camp site. but then that was the dogs' last time being seen again in the movie
