Prepared Foods?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
my gar eat frozen, pellet and live... lazy buggers prefer the pellets usually.... though my cuban goes nutters over nigthcrawlers atm.. but we think he's not right in the head to begin with.:screwy:

Cos as of yesterday, everyone told me gars only eat live when young and frozen only when adult. No one told me gars take pallets. And there is this you tube vid that say gars don't take pallet. So I am quite surprised that they take pallet. It will be easy if they take pallet. So they do huh? Mine are gators.

Watch the video........:frog:

can't believe someone is referencing that video without actually watching the video. should have known that would happen :wall:
Honestly does not surprise me at all....After all these years of Culture hacking and jamming It is an expected outcome.... even a desired outcome.

very true. it also makes a great prequel to my upcoming video "gars are actually unicorns which are actually transformers".

:frog:

I actually saw that vid and it seems that some got the pallets in their mouth. And it show some spitting them out. So I not too sure. Hence clarifying here.

the gars in the video are feeding on pellets. gars feed on pellets and other prepared food relatively easily. cheers

gars do tend to hesitate with pellets at first, so it takes some training...but as the video shows, they DO in fact take pellets...ALL species. some convert easier than others, and even some individuals that have been taking pellets will "chew" on them a bit and sometimes spit them out. reGARdless, the point is that gars WILL in fact take pellets.--

Just tried pellets again the last time they was fed was saturday night atm they show no intrest in them i am debating on taking a minnow and putting a pellet in it to get them take them or piece of whole fish. Have not had much success with freeze dried krill either.
