I also have these rare knifefish, not sure of the species.. I think they are called 'White-line knifes'.. They are in QT, because they were pretty beat up and I think they might of had some sort of parasite.. Heres a pic. Any ID's?

it kind of looks like what we call "green knifefish" in Japan.
it's a knifefish that is mostly transparent.
they are not shaped like clown knifefish though...

i'll get some pictures.

Approximately how large do the "tiger knives" get?

No one really knows for sure. I am also unsure of this exact species, as apparantly there are a few different species of tigre carapo knives. The largest record of a tigre knife was 15", but then I recently imported a 19" one and it was sold to a member here.. They like confined spaces, so I don't think a tremendeously wide tank is required, maybe 18" minimum, preferably 24"..

Hi

What are the whiptail looking fish in the 7th picture down, and how much??

Thanks

An unidentified Loricaridae. They were shipped as 'Red's, but they look more like the rare tiger loricaridae. They are $15/ea, but willing to cut deals on combined orders ;) Have about 20 pcs left..
