In the two recent pics it almost looks inflamed maybe an infection. If its a tumor not much you can do but if it were me i would at least treat it as if it were infected and hope for the best. Not good with meds maybe an antibiotic would fit the bill. Someone else can suggest a better course of treatment

If you can take better pics. Not sure any abx will work as it look more tumorous. U can always try if not much else can be done. Would try triple sulfa and prazipro.

Hard to see in the photos but are both eyes Turning white? If it is, this could be a stress related reaction to the water. Higher than normal chloramine from your public water system, etc... perhaps use more of the dechlorinater than suggested.

I think the proper step would be to treat it with salt. 1 tbspn per 5 or 10 gal. kno4te kno4te help me with this one, lol. Secondly, dose it with some antibacterial meds. Hopefully it will show signs of improvement after a few days.

Salt at 1 tsp per g. Triple sulfa and prazi will cover infection and any potential gill fluke/parasite (maybe).

Just be carefull with meds tho, you dont wanna add more stress to the fish, i would do what’s suggested with salt till we figure out what it is.

Last thing. If vancouver is right regarding an uptick in chloramine id try and feed as little as possible and not have to change the water for the next few days...emaybe more
