everything went well and i learn alot and this to document it for public to see, not for you to flame.
that tiny tank of 75G on that old post moved aside.
the new tank is not decorated yet but it will be a show tank, untill my aro grows over 5 feet long
here it is i shall begin :headbang2

you see on this for comparison of 75G of the old house of my aro

and here it is the hi-tech flood proof dual pump and almost dead silent, both working harmony moving water at about 5000LPH or 1300+GPH at over 5 feet vertical!!.
took me about 2 hours to make and fine tune and about 100 bucks poorer:ROFL:

i just got a PM about cycling the water, i respect the person since he is not flaming it here.
the water is CYCLED and its been over a week, the result was 0 ammo and 0 nitrIte with 5 nitrAte.
this is how i cycled it, moved all the filteration, including the water from my old tank then add more water alot of it to fill up the new tank LOL along with stability according to the dosing instruction to the newly made filteration tub.
the lesson i learn is i could change the water alot less now compare with the smaller tank
its been over a week the tank is live, according to FW complete API test kit my guesstimate would be WC 25% every 2 weeks with this tank to keep water prestine.
well atleast till they drop the massive one LOL

Fast upgrade. GJ.

the filteration i made was based on your inspiration bomber, i know the result is not pretty like urs, but i figured its just work wonderful besides that filter is always tuck in good like a dead body in someone's trunk LOL

Since you moved the filter from the one tank to the other, you didn't need Stability, but it was a good precaution. And just for future reference, you don't need any of the old tank water, unless your nitrates are very high.

Good job.

yes i added stability to the monster tank for good safety measure since im adding sump pump to it as well with new media , when i add the old water to the new tank it reads 0 ammo and nIt with about 10 nAt.
the reason is i pay metered water and water saved money saved, untill my wife garden is up and running!!

did you measure the space between each 5G bucket?
i dont have to measure it, that type of bucket when u stack it together will have the very same amount of volume at the buttom due to outer lips they each have.
which i think when it stacked u will have about 3-4 inches "empty" space at the buttom at every stack.
