nvm got him mixed up with someone else...had the correct guy in mind but just thought up the wrong username...sorry about that wilson4:)

I have finished the first cycle of medication and their sores seem to have stopped growing and are no longer red. There doesnt seem to be any new fin growth, but I am still having a hard time getting them to eat. They were on pellets when I got them, but since they refuse to eat with me watching and I cannot just leave pellets in there to decay, I have tossed in a few feeder everyday and they eventually eat them... Not out of the woods yet.

Update*

I have separated them, I placed the larger one in with my other pbass and left the smaller one alone in the quarantine tank. They seem much more willing to eat now. My other pbass don't seem very happy to have a new tank mate, I need to setup the new 180g asap and get them all transfered into there... I think they will be happier.

Yesterday I went to see about purchasing 2 Brokopondo's for my collection. I was so excited! I have wanted these since I first saw them come in. When we could finally catch them and get them into my bucket I noticed they were both really beat up. I took a closer look and noticed they were really sick, so I was not about to leave them there.

This is my chronical of their rehabilitation...

Day 1: Both fish are between 4" & 6" showing very advanced fin rot, sores in various spots on their faces and between the eyes, and gill curl.

-The gill curl on the smaller of the two is far more advanced and seems to be affecting his breathing.
ihad the same trouble in my 4 bass..looks almost the same..look at this one..sad to say..first 24 hrs the first one died..and every 24 to 3o hours one by one they died..that for the sad memories..hope your bass make it..post an update every month...tnx..
