Very nice finish! Sorry if I missed it but what finish did you use? I must really try this live edge thing sometime... How do you propose to join the legs and such?

The finish is epoxy. I was going to go with varathane but the epoxy looked nice. To join the legs I’ll likely just use screws or small lag bolts. Maybe epoxy a metal plate to the underside as well and drill into that
I never knew this was a thing until seeing it here. Its coming out really nice. My wife likes it too. She wants to see the dinner table finished. Uh oh
Coming out very nice. I've seen a lot of different colors used in filling voids on wood tables and countertops and such, but there's just something about blue that looks so much nicer than most other colors used for these

That's a grand idea for the display tank! Perhaps a simpler board idea would work since live edge may be a little awkward to work with when a straight edge is needed?before I read that I was lying on my couch looking at the reef thinking the exact same thing
