Fairly common among people in the boat industry. When I was reading I think it was 60-70% of people who regularly work with epoxy.
Damn that's crazy, do they have any idea what causes it?

Canada eh
:hearts:Wow. This is jaw dropping, gorgeous. I have always had a soft spot for live edge. And also for self level pouring epoxies.

Sorry to hear about the allergy. Did you wear a respirator, and or ventilate the area? I also want to do projects like this in future but not sure if it would be worth it, if it has a high cost to your health. I often use epoxies with my line of work and this is a reminder to alway wear my respiratory protection. :nilly:

I did look into the causes. I will post my findings later. Busy right now. Once it’s cured allergic reactions very rarely take place. I did use a respirator and had windows, ceiling fans, and ground fans in the room.

Sorry it’s been a while for an update. I took a 15 day vacation to do some skiing in Switzerland. It was an amazing trip. From where I last left off, I have sanded down the table piece for a final coat of epoxy. The last coat did not go on as well as I hoped and left a lot of spots untouched/uneven. This one I will be putting on thicker. I’m currently finishing off the final set of legs as well. Im contemplating leaving them as they are for a more rustic look but I may powder coat and paint.
