  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No idea yet but I won’t find out for months if it’s Italy or elsewhere they just mentioned that so I just wanted to mention somewhere exotic haha

Absolutely beautiful man, I love it.
Appreciate the compliments! I’ll be away again this weekend so won’t be doing any work until I’m back on Wednesday. I should have the legs installed by next weekend. I’m adding threaded inserts into the wood to secure the legs.

Through experimentation I narrowed the most likely cause of the allergic reaction I had to the dollarama latex gloves I was using. I applied epoxy to part of my skin to see if it would irritate it. Nothing happened so I put on the latex gloves a few hours later and started to work. Sure enough my arms started to itch. I’ve used latex gloves before without issues in the lab which is why I’m surprised. I guess the itch I have expierienced in the past was not a result of friction after all ;)

Sorry for the slow update, it’s been a busy couple weeks. coffee table and the dinner table are finished. Legs came out nice considering my welding skills are rusty. I’ll finish up the two bench seats hopefully this weekend. Next project will be the new reef build for the living room.

Bought these bits off of amazon for $18 to drill the holes into the legs for the bolts. Once there’s a pilot hole these drill bits work very well. Took around 20 seconds per hole for 1/4 steel plate. I drilled 24 holes total and the bits don’t seem to be any more dull.
