hi! nice plan
i'd go for the alternative diamond shaped type for the additional volume, too. The diamond shaped tank will give your fish a bigger floor area too. plus it looks more mechanicaly sturdy, IMHO. but if it's intended to be viewed by many people at the same time (like in a clinic or a store), i'd prefer the L-type.
Just a word of concern, with the L-type,be careful in determining your tank height and glass thickness.

ok i officaly hate you, yesterday i sketched my whole besement to scake and even inputed my current tanks and counched, it took 2 houres, i might be planning a big tank in my corner, like a 200-300 gallon.

i went to sleep at 5am because of you and google sketch up... well because of that im borrowing your thread, this is where i was thinking of putting it, and yes the bulheads are also inputed...im thinking abour dismantaling my ito for the glass.

You have to admit Sketch Up is a great tool for planning this things :)

LOL, just kidding, i love it, i actuly still had it installed on my computer from when i was drawing up plans for my pond, I was trying to get a permit for my garage(put on hold) so i did my whole yard and house to scale, it took almost a week, then i lost it somewhere. but yah its an easy program to use, belive it or not i didnt know that you could use glass...

If you where closer i wouldnt mind giveing a hand, provied you suply the dinner and beer...:D

Its only a few hours on the plane :P make it a vacation.
Being portuguese food is always plenty, always 3 more than what you can eat LOL and beer never stops flowing ;)
 
DONT TEMPT ME, I took 2 vacations so far and im only 6months into my job now and i cant take any more for atlest a year, my first one was 2 week into the job and the second was over the holydays... i would get fired and would have no money to finigh my pond... which is what the first vacation was for...

mmmmm portuguese..... STOP IT!!
