so any chemicals that you think i should need, I need Stress Coat I know but what else?

Don't use stress coat, that stuff sucks.

??? it sucks??? I always thought it was great, so I don't need any stress chemical? and what about the protein skimmer, i was thinking about getting an XP3 instead of a protein skimmer to go along with my sump.

Protein Skimmer. Cannister filters are not a good idea for saltwater tank.

Stress coat dechlorinates and adds aloe to the water. You don't need the aloe for healthy fish, and it adds scum. Prime is much more concentrated, and doesn't have the aloe. Saves you a lot of money.

A protein skimmer really depends on your budget and setup. A good HOB is the coralife superskimmer. It will be a ok skimmer for now. You get what you pay for when it comes to skimmers. I have had a really good becket and now I have a Euro Reef needle wheel. What kind of skimmer do you want? I would either use a becket or needle wheel. I will post a link for the type u choose.

ummm, i dont really know the difference i just dont want to add too much noise, and i want it to be a HOS so it won't be visible plus i have a canopy and cant have any HOB skimmers cus their's no room =/ I think i can spend about 200$ but 100-150 is btr for me.

Can u put it in your sump? That would be the easiest
