it won't let you play it without signing it, mature audience only anyways. i'll try another vid

that video didn't show anything and i don't know if it's the same thing. that video shows them just pulling on the head to make it come out. and later they let the turtles go

i saw a video where they grab a turtle, run to the mat, then put the turtle down and pull the head out of the shell. not pull the head off completely, just out it's shell. and the girl said they don't hurt the turtles and they release them back into the wild

so this ritual in the op, they swing the turtles by their tails and bash the turtles heads against rocks and kill them? if so, imo, if they eat the turtles, i think i'm still ok with it

lol, during my search i saw what the organizer of the festival say happens "just grab 'em, put on on a mat, tap on the shell, make the head come out, try to kiss it, if it tries to bite you pull it's head out and hold it up, no injuries and put back in the container"....then i read peta's version of the event which is what the original poster said. some of the vids describe exactly what the organizer showed but other vids show people getting pretty rough with the turtle (basically looks like they're choking a rag doll). since it's all good, i'm doin a cat tossing contest next weekend. we'll grab 'em from a playpen and run to a marked spot and see who can swing them around their head by the tail and toss it the furthest! who's in?

Can we use dogs instead?
