Definantly NOT being a fan boy. I have loved my 360 since day 1. Having a Halo avatar has nothing to do with it.

Still way too much for a console. Not even worth it. Its just a cheap blue ray player, and blue ray is getting beaten out by HD discs anyway.

I plan on getting xbox elite first, and I'm waiting on sony until they absolutely break and the price drops another $100. Man, best buy was trying to push them soo hard when they were at $600 just last week

i dont think this is exactly the case tho not like pc hardware,300$ item will be 50 next year..the ps3 was on the 10 ten flops of 07.it was just too dam expensive..i think they did 2 price drops already on the ps3.i see them dropping price to still try an be competitive in the "race" to be number one.

they are but not compatible with as much games as the 60GB. The 60Gb is pretty much like having a full PS2 inside the the PS3 so it's pretty much hardware. The 80GB is backwards compatible through software emulation from what I've heard so it's limited in terms of titles. I not worry about that since I still have my moded PS2

Thats lame that the smaller hard drive is backwards compatible, but the bigger one is not. Way to go Sony, makes a whole lot of sense.

No No No. The 60Gb was the first release so it's full hardware is in there. Of course any later releases have some things stripped out so help with cutting costs. Like the old PS2 with a opening tray. Later changed to a thinner version with a flip top.
