Actually the next Xbox has almost identical specs to the PS4. Both have 8 core CPUs, both have almost identical GPUs, and both have 8 gbs of RAM.

I heard Microsoft will follow suit and not allow used games.I will buy both I dont see why people bash one or the other?They both have nice exclusives.I use my PS3 more only because of blu ray but I have played the Forza and Halo series just as much as God of War and Uncharted.I haver never been a fanboy of one or the other.
Also if downloadable games become the new thing and discs go by the wayside I hope to see a price drop.I would rather not pay 60 bucks for a download,especially when they cut the cost of cases,discs,manuals and shipping from the software companies end.Im also interested to see if the audio of next gen games catches up to blu ray movies.
Ehh no I don't...I read a little about the upcoming PS4 in the newspaper the other day and saw the mention of the PS3 sales lagging behind those of XBOX.
I love how universally poor the PS Vita is doing. They just recently dropped the price in Japan but not worldwide which is odd. Has btter hardware than the 3DS yet the 3DS out sells it immensely.

It has had some poor games for it.Even the ones exclusive to Sony,have been mediocre at best.Im not a fan of handheld gaming,and the 3ds appeals to kids,and us adults have our phones and tablets for any mobile gaming.
There suppose to make the vita compatible for some games to be used with the ps4. The only thing xbox has over ps3 imo is the ability to play any music you want during gameplay. I hope they fix this issue. But I agree I'm not paying $60 for a download. I'll go buy that marble and crystal chess set I've been eyeing first.

My ps3 recently crapped out about four months ago. Sucks cuz I got it when the ps3 first came out and paid $700. Yes I'm a sucker but a sucker who at the time lived in his parents house and worked full time making 50 k a year. No rent + 50,000 dollars = greatest time of my life lol. Will certainly be acquiring a ps4. Gotta get my call of duty on son!

It's plain and simple. Nintendo and the gameboy rule the handheld console world. I doubt any other company will ever be able to top a Nintendo brand handheld.
