  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think a male texas would do great in a 75 or 90 gallon.

I think 100 gallons is big enough for plenty of crazy cichlids, I have never seen a really tough jd though ,but I hear there out there???? I like red devils, jags, the buttikoferi are all sweet and crazy!

buttis are mean, chewed my dads JD's tail off.had to get rid of the butti the JD is still alive.i have a pic but the gallery is still down so i cant upload it

well since hes looking for something that will fit in a tank 100 gallons and under, pbass are out of the question.

i say get a 125 and get a pair of red devils!!

or a 75 and get a butti!!

and forget about jd's all together unless for feeders:ROFL:

What are the standard dimensions of a 125 gallons? So far I really would like a wild jag pair.

the following would be good in a 100 gallon

pairs

vieja bifasciatum
vieja zonatus

jaguar cihlid
red motag
green terror
texas
salvini

any pair of the above would work but any tankmates are going to get killed.

single fish

a single red terror would be great and they are mean
butti
trimac
flower horn
rd

or a community of

convicts
sajaca
firemouth
any other aggressive cichlids that stay under 6"
it wont be a peacefull tank i assure you and quite entertaining cos there will always be a territorial dispute going on somwhere in the tank.
