ok wow well looks like i have missed out on alot of good stuff being said ...
first i will not even acknowledge those who want me to argue with you on my looks iq or bank statment,YOU simply dont me..so find somewhere else to deal with your lack of a life,if this story and i are so repulsive to you then why is it you have nothing better to do than post on here ..WOW WHAT A LIFE YOU HAVE lol
second,for those wondering i have been on the phone for the past 3 days,seems rocky has made florida news as well,i am getting numorous calls from out of the area places on daily basis,
i would like to update the educated and concered people on here as well as many other sites,this may have started out as JUST A FISH story but here is what it has turned into ,
i have gotton posts,emails,letters and calls from many schools,teachers,students who now since this story has broke are learning what an invasive species is,what injourious wildlife is, the cause and effect of them..i have gotton numbers from a few lawyers across the country that i will be reaching out to this week,as for those who wish not to read or follow this story ,and then post half way through PLEASE dont post on assumtions,
i have done more reaserch on this species as i would hope anyone would do that decides to want an animal period,we dont just do first ask later unless your the dec,
one issue on the transportation of this animal is because it is illegal it is not a inner state law but a FEDERAL law and requires alot of work to get a special transpot across state lines this is NOT something i can obtain,please dont tell me what reserch i have or havent done,fell free if you are that concerned to ask me specifically or you can read anyone of my previous posts.
to all DEC SUPPORTERS that claim this is suck a treat and needs to be killed DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CALL THEM AND ASK THEM WHY IF THE LAWS THE LAW.they did not come,
do we all need to be afraid of what we buy today because of what it could be 10 yrs from now ??? is that the type of world you want to live in? i was given a ticket and a criminal record because i chose to go to my local pet store and buy a fish for a pet 10 yrs ago,is it illegal if i wanted to do that today ? no because the fish they sell there have to be LEGAL right i mean they should know what they sell whether it will be legal or illegal 5-10 years from now right ?
and those who dont own fish,,heres some advise if it can happen to a fish whos to say it cant happen to a bird,rabbit,cat ,dog,guns, where does it end ??
its to much of a risk becaus of the what if's
what if your spouse decides to give you antifreeze? what if your neighbor applies for a gun permit and then has a bad day ,what if your neigbors dog gets out and attcks your child? point is there are alot of what ifs and if you people cant see them then you all live pretty shallow lives, we live with risk everyday ,we put trust in friends family and strangers to posses things that pose deadly risk,so ask your self again why talk about or kill a fish ???
as for those commenting about t-shirts i have already been in contact with a few places ,and buisness owners who wish to sponser the shirts IF AND WHEN they will be made and sold ALL PROCEEDS 100% WILL BE GOING TO SAVE OTHER ANIMALS
to me this is MY pet i chose,some of you may disagree that a fish not a pet ,well im sure you'll agree that it is my right and yours being tampered with ,again say all you want that its the law now ,remeber that next time you decide to buy anything that if it can happen to a fish and i,it can happen to anyone of you for just about anything you own ...
