ok sorry for the delay ,,i have been on phone non stop and mailing out tees ,yes the article in ny daily post wasnt that great but hey dont need every story to keep up the fight ,on a better note i talked with another editor from the syracuse new times ,their last article was more about a plane than rocky so he wanted to do a more in depth story so all i talked about was our rights, how the dec has treated me over the past 3 months ,says he was gonna try and contact the dec get their side i asked him to try and get answers from them regarding the lacey act ,grandfather clause and ex post facto law BESIDES their answer of the fish is just to dangerous when its been proven there wrong ..so we'll see says should come out this wed or next but he will let me know and send me the link which i will post for all those not in area

sounds good... i hope one of these days a lawyer steps up to the plate and can come up with even more solid defense.. something that would shut this down in its tracks.. there should be something that we have missed..

you guys are so awesome.. i have been noticing more and more signatures with "Save Rocky" .. i will do mine this afternoon too.. thanks ... and please everyone add it to yours.. it really makes a statement... and gets the word around... thanks again...Save Rocky.......

Family Wants Paterson to Save Its Diabolical Killer Fish.

A Syracuse family is pleading for Governor Paterson to step in and block the planned "execution" of their pet snakehead fish, which is outlawed in New York because it's an evil being capable of destroying the ecosystem, even crossing land between bodies of water in its quest to eliminate all other inferior species. They argue that since the fish, "Rocky," resides in an aquarium in the kitchen, it poses no danger. And that actually makes sense. Or at least it used to, in a simpler, gentler time. But we've witnessed enough startling leaps in intelligence from birds and chimps recently to not underestimate the ability of any animal to pull off seemingly impossible feats. Just off the top of our heads, Rocky could play dead, wait to get flushed down the toilet, and then swim to freedom and a life of raping and pillaging the environment. Oh, and did we mention this fish can walk on land? We know the kids will be upset, but we're sure they'll find some other non-menacing fish that can stare blankly and swim aimlessly just as well as Rocky.

  • This is from a blog called Aquarium World:

"If in an enclosed area they will try anything to escape. If in an aquarium they will charge at full force and tend to knock over the aquarium or shatter the glass."

  • Clearly, the rise in animal aggression is categorically due to a breakdown in morals and moral behavior. God, I looove crazy people.
