a fahaka.... haha jk, uhhh maybe a spotted?

Not freshwater.

For that tank size I'd check out modestus puffers, or maybe a target puffer.

I've got a leopard in full fresh and love him, but as soon as my LFS gets another in I'm doing a south american. Had one a while back and loved him. Always swimming around, friendly and just a good fish.

hmm.. wat bout a takifugu, i saw one at shark aquarium that i really liked.. but i deff need something somewhat friendly cuz my suvattii wont let anything in its tank and im not goin for solitary for my 30g

If you've already got a suvattii in a 30g, don't try and put anything with him.

Takifugu aren't freshwater fish.

SAP's could be kept with other fish easily. Not aggressive fish, but with quick moving tetras and that kind of thing.

na my suvattii is in another tank.. whats a SAP, im looking for something that grows more on the big side also

agressive SW only won't fit in a 30 gal
SAP = South american puffer small.. will fit in a 30 gal

Just incase you decide to go the SAP route, i just thought you may want to know they do better in shoals of 3 or more... not to mention, that they are known to need regular teeth trimming (around once every few months)

Otherwise, if you don't mind going very light brackish you could consider a pair of F8 Puffer's...
