ok so i have a 30g with a manuelli piranha which im selling to get some tropical fish back.. Im looking for a fw puffer that swims a good amount and can be housed with some other fish.. anyone got suggestions???

I've got a leopard in full fresh and love him, but as soon as my LFS gets another in I'm doing a south american. Had one a while back and loved him. Always swimming around, friendly and just a good fish.
hmm.. wat bout a takifugu, i saw one at shark aquarium that i really liked.. but i deff need something somewhat friendly cuz my suvattii wont let anything in its tank and im not goin for solitary for my 30g

Takifugu aren't freshwater fish.
SAP's could be kept with other fish easily. Not aggressive fish, but with quick moving tetras and that kind of thing.

Just incase you decide to go the SAP route, i just thought you may want to know they do better in shoals of 3 or more... not to mention, that they are known to need regular teeth trimming (around once every few months)
