  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
im gettin a 20h this weekend for them is that a large enough tank for the 2 gsp or do i need a larger one

oh and if it matters im gettin both of them from the same shop and they looked pretty happy together in there

i saw green spotted also so how much salt per gallon do thay need

try to keep them brackish when they are young, around 1,05 salinity..when they are adult they should be in a full marine environment, I gues..check the people at the Pufer Forum.they love puffers and are very knowledgeable.

Miguel

thnx miguel
but i thought gsp would do fine in freshwater
but wen they were adults would need to be in brackish
with a salinity level of 1.05 or lower
is this right or is miguel??

At adult size GSP's will require a high end brackish environment, most keepers prefer to go full marine as the addition of live rock and prtein skimmers means less water changes and also saves you on salt. They do not do well long term in freshwater, there is an article in the puffer forum library which will answer a lot of your questions.

125G minimum. they get to 16" long and are one of the most aggressive fish you will even see.
