"Puking 13 year olds"

Hi, i now have a few tanks.
for over 30 years i lost interest in tanks.

when i was 7-15 years old my life revolved around tanks.
the lfs made a ton of money off of me.
bought books, tanks, supplies, fish.
spent every dollar i could come up with.
spent months reading and trying and failing and succeeding.

my main point, fish were my life.

30 years later i am just getting back into it.
i am sure that more than a few of these kids know more than i do.
what i do like is the fact that they TRY.
what is the best way to learn for me? to TRY.
i might fail, a lot. i also learn a lot.


so, to those kids on here, a small bit of advice.
try to keep the drama down and when some adult tries to knock your spirits down,
just be more mature than them and keep trying.

you have just as much of a right to try and aspire to be a MFK as me(and i have a lot to learn) or anyone else.

just wish i had a resource like this when i was a kid.

I feel you, but I don't know what you're talking about, and I don't know whether you know what you're talking about, because out of your 10 posts, you haven't comment on thing or try to help... You were mainly asking question, and noone have blown you off, yet...

im sorry i had to write all of that fast cuz i had to go to my moms and i think i skip somethings and didnt tell the hole story

ehh im not following do your parents monitor your spending? I can do basically what ever I want my parents want me to be more independent. I spare no expense on my fish if there were fish massages I would give them that too

Pretty much. As long as I dont go out buying any sharks, they're ok.

see I dont think this will happen to me because small critters have been a life long thing for me scince I was old enough to go outside. my mom told me I would just sit on the side walk and watch ants. after much observation of their large masses I concluded the ants were moving to a different hill. later in life I still sat there watching the little guys go about and I concluded the large masses I observed as a child were fights.

my whole life revolves around other animals. ants butterflies (I have some wicked net skills) to frogs, lizards, fish. I have wanted to be a biologist since I found out that was a job option.

I dont think my obsession is exactly typical.
