A short video with the two females and a smaller male. The males are way more colorful and aggressive. I have 2 mature females and 3 males. Each male has his own spawn pit that he guards. Also have some smaller ones that I don't now what they are yet.
I probably could make some money. Here a 2-3" pumpkinseeds sells for about $20. Ridiculously expensive.
As for other natives, yes and no. We have perch, zander, tons of different cyprinids (carp, rudd, tench, roach, silver bream etc.), salmon, trout and pike. Those are the most common. The only cat we have is wels, and it's considered an endangered species.
There were some tests done in the sixties with smb put in a few lakes by Abu (the rod and reel maker) and I suppose they are still around somewhere but i never heard anyone fishing for them. No other "wild" bass or sunfish in Sweden that I know of, but I know there are a few populations of pumpkinseeds and black bullhead in Norway.
