I hope you have a better outcome. Couple things we'd recommend is reduce the current as much as possible while still keeping the water circulating. Use a sponge or something on the tube that brings water back into the tank. That helped our little guy a lot. We fed lots and lots of food; ghost shirmp, krill, smelt, red wigglers, brine shrimp, just about everything you can put in there. Hoped that maybe he would inhale the small stuff at least. The one thing that always caught his eye was ghost shrimp. When you thought he was done he'd suddenly start pouncing on them and gnawing. It was crazy. Someone suggested soaking his food in vitamins in this post....we didn't try that as his tank circulated the same water as the rest of our rays, but if you have a situation that allows it, what can it hurt??

Good Luck!! Let us know how things go.

idk its something i havent seen before

sorry to hear the little one didnt pull through, was a cutie too :(

She's still doing it. I noticed that her little cloaca/vent bulges as she contracts, and she's been working out her baby poo, but it doesn't come out when she contracts. She still has a large belly and is fat still, I pressed on her belly lightly and I could see pressure on her vent, but the poo that's trying to come out doesn't move.

I think she's got some type of blockage. I put epsom in there last night, but the poo strand it still there. I think I might try a .3 or so cc enema. I have to try something.

Theres 2 Tilapia fry in there and I keep changing out baby crawlers to make sure they stay alive. She's 4 days now.

not sure if I'm hijacking your thread, or just continuing it...but I'm keep the updates going here-
