It is located in my Penguin 350. Now I only use Prime in my tanks as a dechlorinator and in step 2 to regenerate it. I have no idea how many times it can be regenerated, a lot I am guessing, my nitrate is 0 now if you haven't read my thread bragging about 0 Nitrates, Ammonia, and Nitrites!

Purigen removes all the nitrogenous waste so that it may have a serious impact on your beneficial bacteria population.
Anyone tried using it to recycle water that is high in nitrates offline?

I've never had the tank go through a mini cycle with Purigen. When I removed all of my carbon, that set my tank through a mini cycle :(

You should be using enough biomedia to make removing carbon irrelevant. I don't even use carbon in my biggest tank, only biomedia and purigen.

sounds like i need to get me some of this
