Careful I heard that purigen compacts tightly and isn't ideal for canisters, but I guess with 1 xp4 and a fx5 it wouldn't hurt to lose apprx 25-50gph!

Yea that's why I put in the XP4. I use it more for mech with very little bio. All the bio is in the fx5 so I'm cool with slower flow for cleaner water lol

Dang, so I never hear of the stuff before, who would sell it and what do I need to get it going, also can you switch it between tanks, or should you have a bag for each tank?
You can get a bottle on Amazon for like 20 bucks. The bottle treats 1000 gallons so it will last you along time. You have the buy "the bag", which is actually the name of the bag you use to hold it and put it in each tank.
