No, 20" height wouldn't be good enough. Adult Aro would be skittish in such a low tank.

8'x3'x20''=300G, 20'' height is about 50cm, and I remember that is the height many expert advise (20'' is the height of water level, so the tank still need to be at least 22-24'' high I think)

IMO 24" should be lowest height for a big Aro but for life 30" height at least for an adult. Just an FYI, if the tank is too shallow for a big Aro, it most likely would be skittish and jump when scared. If tank is deep, usually when the Aro is scared, it would swim downward.

I wouldn't need to ask on a forum, as I would use common sense.

And then there is this business with the 300g tank you are "planning".

You say after my post that I am a "dip ****" why? because I called you out on the RTC? that you are getting rid of? let me just quote you from your last post:

"Well the only fish going in the 300 gallon are going to be the arrowana rtc 2 motoros which I haven't gotten yet the 2 peacock bass clown knife and that's it"

Well apparently my "planning" is going quite well already finished the stand, and I like how you know all about my fish keeping its like you can see the future, and I'm sorry that its my first time getting aros everyone has to start somewhere Christ go dictate someone else's life
