No disrespect meant Vince I was only laughing at yours and JCardona's replies, thats why I quoted them.I like what you are doing here, even though you seem to be getting bombarded from all directions you are sticking to your passion.I dont know what can be done for these fish either but talking and discussion is usually a good start.

Thanks : )

125 threads in Buy and Sell forum. Dude it looks like youve bought and sold more fish then most will ever even see. But of course with all the fish you sold you never did it just for profit and the fish's best interest was always the primary concern, right?.

It is wrong on the sense of the idea. But it depends how big of tank there in how there fed and kept while the tank is over stocked.

I don't think it's wrong to overstock and sell right away. You could make the argument that almost every fish store is guilty of overstocking and selling right away. But if fish stores didn't overstock, most of them could never be in business.

I know you say the difference is that LFS's are doing it for business and hobbyist are doing it more out of greed and unnecessarily risking the fish's life. But I think hobbyists take care of their fish better than most fish stores do. Look at Petsmart. They keep pacus and oscars and everything else in 10g tanks. Most hobbyists know better, and the ones that don't usually quit fishkeeping after a few weeks/months from frustration.

So there's nothing wrong with a guy on MFK buying dats or whatever and selling them in a few days. It does risk the fish's life, (a low risk IMO) but the new owner is probably better able to care for the fish and has a greater interest in feeding and caring for it. The fish is better off because of it.
