hm ... nothing unusual.

This stands for the tragic Russian tradition of dictators - a serie only discontinued by Gorbatschow (a really great politician!) - they often produce some involuntary slapstick (remember Jelzin & wodka, one of the most intimate liasons in politics ever!).

But the message between the words & pics is:

They try to play those "straight democrats" (as Germany's ex-cancellor Schroeder said about Putin ... now he's going to become a "persona non grata" in our media due to some really weird deals with Gazprom) ...
... but they're actors in a B-Movie.

... and they are dangerous!!!
