That is one gorgeous setup bro. I like the plants coming out of the rocks. Bravo. :clap

Thanks! Now all of the Vallisneria are eatten and the two rhizomes of Anubias are consolidtaed into the lower location. BUt the good thing is that both of the Anubias are growing new blades. 3 on 1 and 1 on the other....

I'm possibly going to be getting another 180 gallon but it's A Clarity Plus ACrylic with a colbalt Blue Background....

How do you guys think that it would look with a Blue Background in the same setup?

P.S. The 1810 Clarity Plus comes with a Canopy and is only 2 years old with some minor scratches on the sides for $400....

I think I will simply start a separate thread to describe my strategy. Your plan and layout is very clean and well thought out. Kudos. Nice work. And the stand as well turned out superb. Good luck. Please continue to keep us posted on how the tank progresses over time.

Nice looking tank you got there!

Man, I'm moving to Michigan for some CL deals, lol. My girlfriend just moved here from Petoskey last year.

I think the same setup with the blue will take away from the decor and fish. If it's acrylic you should be able to sand the blue off and rebuff it.

Yeah now that I have the 135gal Clarity Plus setup I think that you are right! The Blue is actually a Blue Tinted acrylic piece. Not surface colored.. Although roughing it up and spraying it with the desired color of Krylon might work too! That's kind of a good idea....

AWESOME!!!:clap:clap

Professionally set up, great finishes, what kind of sand did you use? I am wanting to switch my sand out, and I like the white sands, and yours seems to have a bigger grit.

Thanks for the comps...

I actaully use CaribSea's Aragonite Reef Grade grain in all of my tank as I have only African Cichlids... It buffers the Ph to about 8.0-8.2... Being that my tap is only about 7.3.... Still working on the best way to buffer the Gh to optimize their colors.... Any thoughts?
