  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I never did. If it bothers you, then try rubbing alcohol. It is doesn't come off with rubbing alcohol, then don't bother with it.

That is a great idea Rtc/tsn!! I look forward to seeing the results. I agree with everything that has been said already. I have used pvc in the past without removing the printing and had no ill affects. I have also seen multiple others do the same, but if it makes you feel better then remove it. It is usually pretty easy to remove and will be worth your peace of mind lol.

Edit; sorry, should have said "no noticable ill affects"?

I had already started to remove it and then my ocd took over from there. I just put the piece into the tank and threw some extra gravel on the sides to keep it in place and the catfish immediately left the wood and went into it. I’ve never gotten a chance to be able to see how big he really has gotten or his markings. I’ll put some pictures after the water settles. I accidentally threw around a bunch of sand.

I dont know it it really matters or not, but if i were going to use that i would drill at least a few small holes throughout that thing just keep a bit of water circulation in there.

I sanded the open end of it so that it doesn’t sit perfectly flush against the glass. I’m not sure if that’s enough though. Didn’t want to drill into and let more light into it. Want it to be as dark as it can be for the catfish. Sadly I don’t think it’s dark enough for him since I got white pvc
