I don't think it's more of a supply and demand thing (price for cariba wise), more of a increase of cost of operation (overhead, transportation; fuel surcharge etc, cost of living down where the fish are collected; when fishermen wants more we have to pay more, misc fees)
Yeah but the bad thing is you go down to SA and buy ne fish u want cheap as off the local fisherman. So many of them. Fishing is a way of living and a main food source. Depending on where u go I guess. I know on river monsters he will buy bait for a little of nothing. And on the pirahna episode he catch them left and right. Just like when they picked up that huge payara that was choking on another payara. That fish would be worth a couple hundred here. There its just another fish. Like our LMB and SMB and catfish etc....I wish we could bring the amazon to america!! Altho I guess florida everglades is almost there lol.
