They should change their motto from "no spill" to "spray water all over your house." I'm so sick of the head on this thing getting worn out after a month or two. If you're going to sell these things for so much money at least make them durable. About every two months I have to go to the petstore and re-buy the attatchment for $8.

heres my problem.. The part that twists and pulls up, and goes down always gets loose and lets all the water pressure go both directions. So when I have it closed, half the water pressure is coming out the bottom, even though it should be going through the hose. In the long run it takes more than twice as long to re-fill my tank, wastes water, and sprays all over the place soaking everything within 6' of the washtub.

Anything I can do to fix these? I messed around with the screws but those don't do anything.

that's strange. I have one that's about a year old and I've never had an issue with it. Mine is green though, so maybe there is a difference.

mine starting doing that then i noticed the it was broken from the inside and had to get a replacement. i wish they made these out of some stronger material

mines green too, that was just the first picture on google I found.

I'm not hard on mine or anything, I might just have had some bad apples. Luckily my 50' python was on clearance for $30 at poopsmart

I think what breaks them is high water pressure and the shutoff valve near the actual siphon part. If the shutoff is whats breaking them they shouldn't be putting them there, unless ofcourse they want their product to fail so you have to buy another one. And if its the water pressure they should put a warning label saying "don't use with water pressures over.." but they don't. Terrible company!

then they wouldn't make as much money off of you! They sell the replacements because they make their products to break so you have to buy new ones.

That piece broke on mine after about 2 weeks. I didn't bother replacing it since I just use gravity to drain the tank water out onto the lawn.

I have had to replace that part once about 3 years back, my python is 8 years old
