No problems here, but its only plastic it wont take much for it get worn out.

Just a note to save money...never buy the 50ft. Just buy the 25ft and head to lowes/hd and pick up 2 5/8" hose adapters and whatever amount of 5/8" tubing...quick and cheap way to increase length.

What did the company say when you contacted them?

Dr Joe

.

didn't yet. I've tried to contact companies like this before with logitech playstation 2 microphones a couple years back and they didn't care.

thats not cheaper IMO. When I was building beer bongs the most expensive part was the tubing.

I had the same problem as you. The green colored attachment is the "python" attachment. the blue one in the pic you posted is a waterbed drain and fill attachment. The blue one is the same thing but less than half the cost of a python attachment. My blue one has not broke on me yet! I broke 3 python attachments befor i found the waterbed drain and fill at walmart.

cheapest way is to use regular garden hose, the fittings are the same

I payed around $.15 a foot....30 feet plus the connecting pieces came in around $10.

Might as well just buy the part that attaches to the sink...and the siphon end then?

for the people who's are still working, what kind of water pressure do you use and do you use the shut off?
The blue ones are made by Lee's aquariums. They don't work as well IMO. My python unit is nearly 4 years old, and I did recently replace part of it, as it snapped. I run 80 psi through my line.

that's strange. I have one that's about a year old and I've never had an issue with it. Mine is green though, so maybe there is a difference.

ditto...
