that's strange. I have one that's about a year old and I've never had an issue with it. Mine is green though, so maybe there is a difference.

:iagree: Only reason I had to replace my green attachment is because a certain puppy of mine thought it would make a good chewy.

One thing that would help out IMMENSELY would be to go outside and hook it up to your garden faucet. This is the only way I do it, much more pressure, quicker, and you don't have to worry about messes when its outside...;)

yeah but then you don't have the option of putting different temperatures of water back in your tank.

I'll be waiting for the pictures of the DIY attatchment.

one more reason to hate my python.. 20minutes ago while I was cleaning one of my tanks (40' away from the sink) I close the shutoff valve and it falls right off and starts spraying water all over my room. I start running to the sink to shut it off so I don't soak the carpet and it sprays water all over everything on my way back to the sink. If I was smart I would have just kinked the hose, but then again I didn't plan on the piece of .... breaking right there. Luckily I picked up the exact piece that broke off for $.25 at habitat for humanity a few months back. Aaaaaaargh I hate this thing.
