First defrost whatever frozen food you want to feed your puffer, then get some fresh garlic, crush it up real good so its all broken up...

Then get the seafood and rub the garlic with juices over the food and let it sit for a few minutes to absorb the smell...

After its been sitting for a little while, place a piece of food infront of your puffer using tongs and wiggle it around a bit and your puffer should at least try it...

Thats how i got my puffer onto all types of seafood...

Although since your puffer is new, it could still also be adjusting to its new home :)

It just takes time for them to settle in. My fat girl still goes on hunger strikes every once and a great while. Good too see it's eating now. Freshwater clams from the grocery store work well as a staple.

I would leave some muscles and stuff in but my stupid pleco and cichlids keep eating it lol! Seeing how the tank mates work out still, he's still settling in so that may be why he's ignoring them now; but I'll set them up elsewhere if it doesn't work out. Plenty of hiding places for them to hide in though, needa get a bigger cave and or giant pvc pipe for lucky puffy though!
