Question about Flowerhorn Tank Size

i have seen a flowerhorn multiple times in a community tank. shouldn't bother a still laying armoured raph

I have seen flowerhorns in community tanks as well, but that doesn’t mean it would not attack the Raphael catfish. The flowerhorn is probably able to be kept in community tanks with larger fish, since those fish probably already showed their greater dominance compared to the flowerhorn (eg. Arowanas, I have seen them comm with flowerhorns) or established their heriachy.
on the other hand the Raphael is a peaceful fish which would just get bullied by the flowerhorn and not retaliate back.
However it all boils down to flowerhorn personality again, whether you get an aggressive one or peaceful

maybe give the raph a cave in which the flowerhorn can't reach. it would only come out at night to eat when lights will be close. so i doubt the FH shall bother it then
