Question about hybrid rays

My opinion on the crossbreed / hybrid term;

Potamotrygon X Potamotrygon = Crossbreed (combination from the same genus)
Potamotrygon X Plesiotrygon = Hybrid (comination of different genus)

Same goes to others such as Paratrygon and Himantura.

I feel the same way on the subject, but by binomial nomenclature they are, for now, separate species.

Hopefully I can do some more work on this subject as a postgrad and then PhD, but I'll take that on when the time comes.

It will be nice to see what kind of crossbreeds/hybrids come about; if anyone has pics, post 'em up!
