Question for big dreamers:

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Aww. if it wasn't only SA I woulda said a makong cat. That would be impressive.

A school of Discus and another of Geophagus Surinamensis - I think these are beautiful fish. Frank from the Netherlands used to have a beautiful school of these in his stingray tank - stunning fish. With that much depth in the tank, it will be fun filling up the different levels with different species. At least the Discus couldn't complain that there wasn't enough height in the tank!

What about some SA Lungfish? And IDK where bichirs are native to but if there are some from SA then how about those? And I deffinatly agree with the redhooks and barred SD. I think SD are stunning. Also to go along with the giant school of cons I agree that neons would look amazing I just think they would get picked off too fast by the cons and other small/juvinile cichlids. Oh and I think you should throw in some true parrot cichlids. They are absolutly amazing!

Oh yea and some Red Terrors and see if aquamojo can hook you up with some of those "unknown" cichlids:naughty: ! Those things are SWEET.

he said fish from south american, clown knives, royal knives, bala sharks, tinfoil barbs, clown loaches and ghost knives are ALL from asia so will definately not fit in with a south american theme.

few groups of breeding rays(leo's motoros etc) lots of black arows with a few silvers...and some schools of mid sized fish of all kinds nothin crazy a little bit of everythin kinda like colin said keep it simple

Mixed groups of rays don't work well for breeding. You end up with hybrids. I'm thinking mixed display of all females, and keep males off exhibit to breed as I say.

would it be easier to keep males in the tank and females off exhibit so that you dont have to net out pups from your monster tank?
