They are fine with other pets until they know they are a serval. you can keep them with house cats with no problem. But once the serval sees another serval, those housecats start to look like prey. But I have found that if they are by themselves (no other servals), they are alright. I wouldn't exactly say tame though. If you get one , you will have atleast a few incedents were it flips out and jumps of the walls, ceiling, or your head. And they tend to be quite distructive in houses. Curtains, couches, walls, and carpet are all fair game.
Sounds like my house cat Scooter, you piss him off and you bleed, sometimes an hour later, he'll think about it awhile then walk over and whack you. He is also liable to suddenly decide that he needs to be in another room very fast, by way of two walls and a table. He has his own chair that now has one leg about a 1/4" thinner than the other because thats the one he prefers to work on.

oh, by the way... soft, i checked out your gallery... am very curious as to what ya have in your vivarium....?
NOTHING! I'm still searching for the perfect match. I been thinking red eyed tree frogs or some type of small day gecko.

A miw of small house geckos, wall geckos, and green tree frogs would be cool. The geckoes are cheap and if you can find carribean or phillipino ones they chirp at night. They are the right size so while the geckos might squabble every once in a while nothing will eat each other.

I like the idea of having some geckos that chirp. It's a small tank though, its only a 20 gallon. I was at petco the other day and they have some house geckos there for $3 or $4. Seemed like a good deal. I think I might go back up there today and pick some up. Thanks for the input.
