Question for the Concealed Carry guys - holster options

Personally, I *love* my P7 for CCW, and I use an inside the belt holster. I tend to put it towards the small of my back on my right side. The P7 is VERY safe and well ahead of it's time. I think it's just about one of the nicest pistols around. it does get a little hot while firing however (due to placement of the gas tube that reduces recoil).
 
Agreed and which one do you have Clay,the eight or thirteen shot P7?
 
Mine is a PSP so it is an 8. Eventually, I would like to get some Nils wood grips on it. The P7M8 and P7m13 are on my eventual list.
 
Another bumpdate! Picked up a Glock 27, and ordered a Crossbreed SuperTuck holster. I've been carrying my compact XD 45 for a few days now and it's no fun carrying that huge gun.

Now a question on spare magazines. Do you guys carry one? If so, how? I've read IWB mag carriers are extremely uncomfortable. I'm leaning towards a simple knife sheath with a velcro strap. Thoughts?
 
I dont bother carrying more mags when I carry. I have the one mag and that should suffice. For me I am shooting for defense and/or to shock someone momentarily so I could get away.
 
This probably won't help you, but I bought a leather purse with a zippy center-section, and I carry my gun and the extra clip in there ;)

Its not a man purse its a satchel.... Indy wore one. HA HA. Hangover for the win.

I have buddies that have a leatherman type pouch that they use for a spare mag. If you really feel you need another then go that route. If I am going to a bad area then I might be more prone to carry the S&W M&P standard 9mm with a 17 round mag...
 
Ok I went to Walmart and found they sold a single mag pouch for $10. I think it'll work just fine. And I like that it can be mounted horizontally, which is more comfortable than vertically. Even though I probably won't use this all the time, I like that it doesn't scream "I'm carrying!!"

I've seen some holsters that had a pouch attached for an extra mag but they seem a bit bulky for CC...My Glock 21 has a fifteen round mag so hopefully that will be enough should something go down.I've never thought of carrying an extra mag though
 
Im picking up a s&w airwieght in 38 special tomorrow evening. I gotta figure out to carry an extra speed loader. Thats harder than a spare mag.
