Question on filtering a 260

You got it Bro there is nothing wrong with canister don't get me wrong the 180 with the bass has 3 canisters .It's just when i finally got over my being intimidated of wet dry and actually did it i could not believe how much easier maintinance was i personly was totaly impressed with the way sump worked..
 
IF non planted 1 x fx5 and a wet dry sump with decent surface area. You can add another fx5 if you decide to heavily stock the tank.

They seem to do the trick on bio. I have them filled with scrubbies. There is plenty of bio space inside the filter, but I think bio space can sometime be overdone. My 265 is stocked with a 24" Jardini, 15" GG, and a 24" Marbled Pim.

That's a pretty cool stock!

Good to know they work with scrubbies. I will probably do the same thing.
