a few of years ago i started out with a 10 gallon tank, which didnt work out at all, so i got a 55, had several losses (i didnt know about cycling back then). its been a year now, and the only loss i had was a small bala shark a month ago.
HAD 10 GAL TWO A 29LONG ADDED 4-5 MORE 10'S AND A 30 WITH SOME SMALL BREEDER AND OCT'S LOST ALL OVER THE YEARS NOW STARTING AGAIN WITH A 10 AND A 29 HOPING TO GET 125-240 IN A YEAR OR TWO
I started with a jar. It's not even a gallon. it's 4"x6"x4"..something like that. I kept chana striatas in it..two or three, but they were babies, like 4". They just sat there, I didn't even feed them. Actually, I dunno what happened to them, I think I remember letting them go after the rain flooded the streets. I could catch those blue pearl gouramis in the flooded streets. Then came to america and my cute neighbor broke up with her boyfriend and she gave me her old 10 gallon fish tank. Just got some tiger barbs, and angel fish. I know bad combo, fin nippers with another fish that was slow and lots of finnage. From there, went to 60 gallon, kept oscars, arowana, bichirs, went hiatus to raise a family, and only kept a 60 gallon with P's. Now I have 330, 240, two 125's, one 100, one 60, two 40's, two 10's, and a propagation tank that measures 6'x2'x6'. It's multi-tier with multi-chambers. It's great for keeping bullies, like a jail
