old thread but: 29 to a 55 36x18. Had i had the space in my apartment, i would have gone much bigger in that step. as it was, i only had the 29 up a few months before being frustrated at the narrow footprint. next move I will insure I have room for at least something in the 200+ range.
Question to big tank owners...

I started with a 29 then a 55 then a 125 and just a month ago I purchased a 500 gallon and it had all the fish in it up and running 2 days ago. And to think it started with a 29 about 10 years ago
