has anyone heard of a strain called the blue pearl? its a Fader type with massive pearls. i picked it up from a breeder few days ago and he said something like its a rare breed or something like that. the parents had full flowerline but the one i picked up has no flower at all. ill post some pictures soon. if anyone knows what the mixes are please let me know.:D

I've seen them. And yes faders with pearls, especially lots of pearls is rare in my case. As far as them being called blue pearls? Just another marketing name IMO.

im surprised that its not aggressive at all. all the other flowerhorns i had tried to rip my fingers apart but i can actually pet it. without getting my ass kicked. lol

i guess i have luck in picking out the calm ones. LOL. this is the 3rd one that hasnt attacked me or tried to kill me in my sleep. LOL

Def. a little different. Very sharp though. What color is he now...No yellow or red?

its about 3 inches its slightly yellow. its still to small to show the full coloration IMO.

Faders are not just yellow or slightly yellow or golden since born. They are a whole set of different colors like the rest of the other ones. Then they turn dark gray or even black for that matter of fact and peel into yellow/golden/red coloring. If it doesn't peel, it's not a fader.
