I'm the one who told you to let it bite you. Keep in mind I said let him bite horizontially across your index finger-don't just stick your fingertip in his mouth, that would be stupid as your fingertips are kinda sensitive.
Let me tell you a quick story:

I got my first job in a pet shop when I was 12. Whenever I had to catch Tokay's, I grabbed CAREFULLY so I wouldn't get bit. My boss noticed this one day and said, "Bring that Gecko over here'. Of course, I complied. He took the Tokay and held him with his head free and said, "Now stick out your finger and put it in his mouth". I was like, 'NO F*CKING WAY!" Here's this Tokay gecko with his mouth wide open and he's growling at me. My boss says, "Stop being a sissy and stick your finger in his mouth". So I did it. Nothing happened. Didn't even hurt. So then the boss says, "Now get back to work".
Totally true story.
So I ask you: Are you 12 years old? No? Then stop being a sissy and do it. You will hardly feel a thing. Tokay's have a reputation of being nasty but you will learn that they ONLY have a bark and no bite.
Trust me. You will enjoy handling him alot more once you realize he can't hurt you.

I think an equal sized Iguana would give him a nastier bite than his Tokay.

I should also mention that if Mr. Gecko does decide not to let go, all you have to is place him on the cage bottom and release your grip. He will let go.

Nah its more like being nipped at with little pin teeth every time you stick your hand in the tank not scared just annoying..
I have had many snakes and lizards always hate the nippy ones point in case is a Cali King its bite dosnt hurt much just startles ya because they strike all the time because you kinda of are expecting it makes it worse

reptiles hate the taste of alcohol, so if he bite and wont let go just drip a LITTLE jack in his throat. and if that doesnt work, just finish the bottle off.

but honestly it doesnt hurt that much. i have a 8 inch female, she used to bite all the time. shes tame now. well.......not really tame, just not nearly as aggressive as she used to be. shes got the same temperment of a Rhacodactylus now lol.
