hi, I posted similar question in the media lounge on my thread about galaxy ray tails shape, but I think its better to start a new thread and discuss it here, so anyway, I am just wandering, do you guys think that p14 rays have a distinct tail shape (which is pointing up at the end, a hook like shape) compare to other types of rays?
do you think that the tail on below image belongs to p14 ray?

what do you guys think? pls help,
cheers

Andreas ochs has confirmed that there are at least 2 diffrent types of P14 tails shapes.

- and I know that BD vary in tail shape too.

Using them to ID potamotrygons is somewhat pointless.

hi, could you show me where the source is from? or maybe some links I could look at?

The tail tip on p14 turns up at the tip
Leo tail is a paddle

Pure blood p14 the tail is a paddle but the tip turns up it shows more in females I will get a pic for you latter

It looks ok but the ray is still very young it's easy to see on a adult

You can't just go on tail shape to tell pure blood rays as they may have different traits from different parants
My Leo x p14 pups had p14 tail

I will post pics when I feed mine in a few hours it's only 5 pm in the UK my lights come on at 4pm then off at 11pm the rays get very active around 7 pm as they know food is coming

There maybe other rays that have the p14 flag tail but they are the only ones I know of but p14 are the main rays I have kept for the past 8-9 years

To much focus has been placed on paddle tail lately like its a guarantee the ray has Leo blood

Will post a pic soon
